Sadana's 80 year old function hall which urgently required repair work was attended to during the summer holidays, courtesy Mr. Alok Gupta, Engineer, Philanthropist and Managing Trustee, Hari Murari Trust, Mysore. Mr. Gupta who on a visit to VS volunteered to undertake the repair work by infusing required funds and providing technical support. The hall's asbestos roofing was replaced by .45mm..sheets. A special reflective insulation material was used to bring down the temperature by about 6 degrees C. Vetrified tiles was laid covering the entire area of the hall. Painting, wood work and electrical repairs were also carried out. Thus our long standing desire to give a face lift to VS function hall was accomplished, thanks to Mr. Gupta.
