Details : On 26 January, Vanitha Sadana celebrated nation's 66th Republic Day with pride and enthusiasm. Smt. R.Rajalakshmi, who, as a volunteer, assisting the school in academic and administrative matters for the past one year, was invited as the chief guest. Sri B. R.Ravi, Trustee, presided over the function. Smt. N. Anasuya, Managing Trustee and other members, teachers, staff and children were also present. Ms. Rajalakshmi hoisted the flag which was followed by patriotic songs sung by the children. Addressing the students, Ms. Rajalakshmi spoke about the significance of Republic day for children, what constitution means to all of us and efforts made by the authors to create such a marvelous material to the nation and the responsibilities of all citizens to follow it in letter and spirit. Sri Ravi also spoke on the occasion. The function ended with distribution of sweets. Some snaps taken during the occasion are enclosed.
