BASAVARAJ Shankar Umrani, a 23 year old born blind boy from Belgavi visited Vanitha sadana on 28/10/17 to show his extraordinary prowess in remembering, calculating, arithmetical numbers to the astonishment of everyone in the school. Basavaraj who traveled all the way from Belguam, courtesy Lions Club West, Mysore, enthralled the students of the schools by his split second answers of complex addition, subtraction, multiplication posed to him. He was able to tell the exact day corresponding to the dates of births of people born between 1900 to till date. he was also able to remember and tell mobile numbers of people by listening only once. Amidst all, he proved that he was a good teacher by his oratory skill. All this when he cant see. It was a memorable event indeed to the children.
