Details : Gamaki Sri. K. Ramachandra, Trustee, was felicitated on 23.12.2015 at V.S.to celebrate the awarding of the title of GAMAKA RATHNAKARA to him by Karnataka Gamaka Kala Parishath, Bangalore recently. Sri. Ramachandra accepted the felicitation along with his wife Bharathanathya Artist. Smt. Tulasi Ramachandra. Many organizations and individuals also felicitated the artist couple on the occasion. Sri Ramachandra enthralled the audience with his GAMAKA rendering which was enjoyed by one and all including Senior Gamaki Smt. Mangalamma and Singer Smt. H.R. Leelavathi. Smt. Girijamba retired Head Mistress of V.S. in her speech gave details of Sri. Ramachandras achievements in the field of Gamaka. Chief Guest Dr.Sathyanarayana, a Sanskrit scholar spoke on Gamaka kale, well received by the Audience. Sri. Ramachandra was presented with a Idol of Lord Krishna as a Memento, also honored with a title GAMAKA BHASKARA BY V.S. for his outstanding service to the school.
